How far can TLAZA hear an incoming drone?

Distances are measured outward from the protected boundary under typical operating conditions.

Basic Acoustic Coverage

  • Small hobby quad: up to ~800 ft (≈ 245 m)
  • Prosumer / medium multirotor: up to ~1,600 ft (≈ 490 m)
  • Large multirotor / fixed-wing: up to ~3,900 ft (≈ 1,190 m)

Enhanced Acoustic Coverage

  • Small hobby quad: up to ~1,000 ft (≈ 305 m)
  • Prosumer / medium multirotor: up to ~2,000 ft (≈ 610 m)
  • Large multirotor / fixed-wing: up to ~4,900 ft (≈ 1,495 m)

Actual performance varies with ambient noise, wind, and site layout. Enhanced coverage reflects directional focus and optimized placement.
